1. Overview (Plain Summary)

Welcome to CheckMyLicense.online ("CheckMyLicense", "we", "our", or "us"). CheckMyLicense provides a cloud-based platform that allows developers and businesses to manage, verify, and protect their software through license management and authentication tools. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms describe your rights, obligations, and the rules for using CheckMyLicense.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CheckMyLicense platform, website, or API (collectively, the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Company Information

4. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Users create an organization account managed by an administrator who can invite or manage other users based on the subscription plan. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Description of Service

CheckMyLicense provides a licensing and authentication platform ("CheckMyLicense") enabling developers to create and manage software licenses, verify client usage, and control access to their own software or applications. The Service may be accessed via our portal or integrated through our APIs. CheckMyLicense reserves the right to modify or improve features at any time without prior notice.

6. Subscriptions, Billing & Payments

CheckMyLicense operates on a subscription model with the following options:

• Free Plan: Limited access for evaluation purposes.
• Pay-as-you-go: Postpaid monthly invoicing based on the number of programs, licenses, and API hits.
• Growth and Pro Plans: Monthly prepaid subscriptions with defined usage limits and additional features. Overage fees may apply if limits are exceeded.

Invoices are generated monthly and must be paid within 15 days of issuance. Payments can be made through PayPal, XPay, or credit card.

Access to the portal may be suspended after 15 days of non-payment and terminated after 30 days. Data is retained for up to 12 months following termination and may then be permanently deleted. Users must settle outstanding invoices before reactivating their subscription.

All subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. There are no refunds for fees already paid or consumed usage.

7. License & Acceptable Use

CheckMyLicense grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal software licensing purposes. You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service;
• Integrate the Service into another commercial product except through the official API;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service;
• Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.

8. Data & Privacy

We collect only essential information such as email addresses, organization details, and usage data (programs, licenses, and API hits) to operate the Service. Payment data is processed securely by third parties (PayPal, XPay); CheckMyLicense does not store credit card information.

Hosting and data storage are provided by Nhost, a secure serverless platform. CheckMyLicense follows principles consistent with GDPR, including data minimization, the right of access, and data deletion upon request.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, designs, and documentation associated with the Service (including “CheckMyLicense”) are the exclusive property of Trade't. Users retain ownership of their own software and any content or configurations they create using the Service. You grant Trade't a limited license to store and process your data solely for providing the Service.

10. Service Availability & Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CheckMyLicense makes no guarantees regarding uptime, performance, or that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. CheckMyLicense is not liable for any losses, including trading losses, data loss, or software malfunctions arising from use of the Service.

11. Suspension & Termination

CheckMyLicense reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service in case of non-payment, misuse, or violation of these Terms. Users may cancel their subscription at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the remaining period. Data will be retained for up to 12 months after account termination unless deleted earlier upon user request.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckMyLicense’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the user during the preceding billing month. CheckMyLicense shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Beirut, Lebanon.

14. Amendments

CheckMyLicense may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. The “Last Updated” date above indicates when the latest changes were made.
